SanDiskIndia launched new FLASH NAND based storage drives. The first is SanDisk Extreme II SSD where the company advertises that it comes with a sequential read of 550MB/s and 510 MB/s sequential write, though they haven’t mentioned on which benchmark/condition and for which capacity.

What should be noted that it comes with 5 years warranty period, so I am looking forward to see how it stands against Samsung 840 Pro drive. It with comes 120GB, 240GB and 480GB with MSRP of Rs. 14,750/-, Rs. 26,100/- and Rs. 49,500/-.

The newer versions of MicroSDHC and MicroSDXC UHS-I Class 1 and Class 10 cards are available, where the company assures that it allows 1080p video recording, and assures it can provide 80MB/s read and 50MB/s write on a 64GB card variant, whereas on 16GB it allows up to 80MB/s read and 30MB/s write.
